zbrush part6 Texturing

The amazing point of Zbrush is that not only the user can paint on the surface of object directly, but also draw a bump texture. Usually 3D software allows adding a bump map texture using monotone colored image, but Zbrush doesn't need to generate bump map texture because it modifies the object directly. (modifying 3D polygons directly). I drew spots and skin details on this object, but this is only for head part sculpting. I prepared another texture for the full body sculpting.

Zbrush part5


Here is the latest work. Actually this is totally different model, I created again from first step, because the born of last model was balanced as an appearance but system which is related this softwere was unbalaranced. It would make destorted UV mapping that means texture when I paint on the surface. The new one is thought about the muscle more deeply so that it would seem more natural even if some parts of body move.

Drawing Painting

These day I'm working on new painting.
It can't be shown yet but I'll upload it. The size is little bit huge but I'm trying to complete painting during SOPIS. This is kind of transforming scene from cropped image of NY. I'll upload soon...

Exhibition







This is my previous exhibition in KIDI Parsons.
I was sophomore student in product design major. First image is a flower vase for the salon. Second is a chair which can be deconstructed and stored. At that time, I was extremely busy (maybe more than parsons because we had to learn English at the same time), but interested in busy day also. I had a vacation until coming to NY, I really relaxed.

Zbrush part4





Dviding from 300000 to three millions polygons. The point was the born of the body. If I ignore the born structure, the posture and balance of the body are going to be strange position. In the first step of sculpting base structure(body) is the most important part. That makes final vision, and especially sculpting female body needs more delicate works.

Zbrush part3




This is a development of the sculpting. This part3 shows how much developed in the face part. Top one is second level giometoric mesh and then it's fixed and detailized.

Subway


Yesterday I drunk a lot with Parsons students and students who are ELS school students(not ESL). First, I went to Astor pl st and met Parsons students and they told me about Parsons life and what interesting things are in Product design department. After that, I went to Rector st where is near the World Trade Center Building and met some students. Finally we moved to Korian town and drunk untill 3am. I amazed becasue there was a girl who looks an university sutudent slept on the platform. I couldn't believe that. I think it never happens several years before in NY.
